Case Studies

Lidl, Blantyre

Last year, we successfully completed this project for a new client that involved intricate requirements for fire protection and decoration works to all of the steel structure. The project focused on perimeter steels, which needed to be rigorously fire protected to ensure compliance with safety regulations and to enhance overall durability of the instillation. To achieve this, we utilised state-of-the-art fire-resistant coatings that not only provided the necessary protection but also ensured durability in high-risk environments. Our team conducted thorough inspections and assessments to determine the best solutions for fire proofing specific to the site’s unique conditions.

Moreover, our scope extended to ensuring that all other steelwork within the project was treated to achieve a high decorative finish of white & grey, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing yet durable finish that aligned with their design vision. Our skilled specialists employed advanced spraying techniques to guarantee an even application to protect the cladding alongside enhancing both the visual appeal and the longevity of the steel structures.

Throughout the project, we maintained close collaboration with the client, providing regular updates and ensuring that all deadlines were met without compromising quality. The project’s successful execution has not only strengthened our relationship with this client but also showcased our capabilities in handling complex requirements involving safety and design.

Overall, this project was a testament to our commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction, and we look forward to similar challenges in the future.

Edmiston house, Ibrox

One of the first major projects we were involved in was at Edmiston House, where we were subcontracted by FI Coatings The project was divided into two key phases. In the first phase, our team focused on addressing any erection and handling damage. This involved meticulously repairing any imperfections in the structure and ensuring that all nuts and bolts were also fire protected. It was a delicate process, but the team handled it with precision and care.

Once that phase was complete and the building was wind and watertight, we moved on to the second phase, which was a full, high-quality decorative re-spray. This phase required expert attention to detail, as the goal was to achieve a flawless finish that would meet the client’s high standards. Our team worked diligently, ensuring the coatings were applied evenly and efficiently, providing a durable and aesthetically pleasing result.

Throughout both phases of the project, the team demonstrated exceptional skill and commitment. They worked collaboratively to meet deadlines, resolve any challenges that arose, and ensure that everything was completed to the client’s satisfaction. The project was a great success, and we were proud of the results achieved and the positive feedback from the client.
